“Condolences from one farm family to another. I always enjoyed visiting with him. I could hear him coming in the fire truck from a mile away. ”

Ronald W. "Ronnie" Tuschen, age 75, died on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at home due to complications from a stroke. He was born on August 15, 1942. His parents were Arsenius (Zeno) and Sara (Weisensel) Tuschen.
Ronnie was a lifelong member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, East Bristol. He attended St Joseph's Grade School and Sun Prairie High School.
Ronnie and Kathleen (Weisman) were married on April 26, 1969. They have two children, Dale (Dawn) Tuschen of Marshall, and Lori (Jason) Dey, Fort Atkinson. They are blessed to have two grandchildren, Ryan Tuschen and Mackenzie Dey.
Survivors are his brother, Dennis Tuschen; his sister Mary Crain; aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, friends and his beagle, Hunter.
Ronnie was proud of his many accomplishments. He drove gravel truck for F.H. Raemisch Sons for 39 years. He enjoyed farming all his life, first with his father and family, now with his son Dale. He was most proud of his family watching his two children grow into fine young people. Watching them get married and now keeping a close eye on his two grandchildren. He was proud to have a happy and loving home with Kathy for almost 49 years (just short 4 days).
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws Merlin and Jeanette Weisman; brothers-in-law Dan Crain and Mike Smith; sisters-in-law Marie Tuschen and Denise Weisman.
Ronnie enjoyed the last 14 years, his retirement years. He always said he didn't have time to go back to work, he was too busy. He enjoyed a couple of trips to Las Vegas with Kathy, Mary, Dan and Denny. He said he went more for the food then the gambling. Ronnie always enjoyed good food. Ronnie always had time to stop and chat with the neighbors about the price of cattle or the latest auction he went to. He will be missed by many.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Bristol, with Father Vince Brewer presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., Sun Prairie, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Friday.
