Robert A. Graf, age 82, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017, in his home. He was born on December 24, 1934, in Fond du Lac. He married Darlene (Berndt) Graf on May 27, 1967, at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Oshkosh.
He worked as a chemical analyst for Hazelton Laboratories. Bob, as he was affectionately known to most, loved his wife and family dearly. His commitment to his wife endured throughout their lives together and after her passing. He enjoyed working in his garden and was happiest when tending to his vegetables. Bob was a committed member of the Saturday morning Bible sharing men's group at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church for over 25 years. When his sons were young, he coached youth hockey. As a grandfather, he spent time with his three granddaughters attending recitals, volleyball games, and Grandparent's Day.
Though he was a quiet man, you could engage him in a conversation regarding American history, politics, and engineering.
He is survived by 2 children, Mark (Victoria) Graf of Loves Park, and Paul Graf; 3 grandchildren, Izandra, Eliana and Adeline; a sister, Joyce Athanasiou; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt will preside. Burial will be at Sacred Hearts Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Wednesday. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Hearts Cemetery Fund.
