He worked for Swiggum Concrete for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, playing cards and watching TV. He was a great uncle, nephew, and friend to many. He would have given the shirt off his back to anyone.
He is survived by his mother Gladys; brother Richard; nieces and nephews, Kristi (Craig) Gherke, Craig (Jodi) McDowell and son Owen, James (Lizzy) Bultman, Michael Bultman; uncles Phil Bultman, and Michael (Rose) Bingham; brother-in-law, Jeff (Eileen) McDowell; cousins, Patti (Jerry) Helgeland, Dan Bultman and Jeff Bultman and many other cousins; and many good friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his father Floyd; sister, Connie McDowell; special aunt Evey Bultman; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
By John's wishes there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held. A special thanks to Dr. Seth Dailey, Diane, Jodi and all the Drs. and nurses that helped him at the U.W. Hospital.
P.S. - Dick would like to express a very special thank you to my mother for tending to John at her home. He was not easy for her. Also a very special thank you to Statz Bros. Inc. for allowing me the time I needed to tend for John. And thank everyone who gave me the support I needed, especially Patti, Phil and mom.
