Alfonso "Al" S. Greco, age 52, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on December 9, 1964 in Springfield, IL to Dominic and Margaret (Ryan) Greco. He married Sherry Leipart on December 7, 1985 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church in Sun Prairie.

Alfonso proudly owned Limo One Limousine Service for 22 years. He was currently the Cottage Grove Lions Club President, and a former Melvin Jones Award winner. He volunteered over 5000 hours at Freeport Hospital in Freeport, IL. He also received an Outstanding Volunteer Award at U.W. Hospital in Madison.

He is survived by his wife Sherry; 2 children, Carmine and Christine (Chad) Bauhs; 1 granddaughter, Stella Rose; his parents, Dominic and Margaret; 5 brothers, Dominic (Myra), Brian (Gail), David (Tammy), Vincent (Emily) and Michael (Rachel); 2 sisters Megan Greco and Patricia (Zach) King; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Therese Leipart; grandparents; and beloved niece Madeline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday June 16, 2017, at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus St., Sun Prairie, Father Chahm Ghang will preside. Burial will be in Pierceville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday June 15, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
